Why a country is closed

Nicotine pouches are regulated country by country, not continent by continent. Every market we open needs its own product registrations, its own notifications to the local authority, its own labelling, its own tax treatment and a shipping setup that clears customs reliably. That work takes months, and we only switch a country on once all of it is in place.

Some countries are simply next in line. Others are closed for reasons we cannot solve with paperwork. In a number of European markets, including Germany, the sale of nicotine pouches is not permitted under current national law. Where that is the case, we will not sell there, and we are not going to pretend a launch is around the corner. If the law changes, we will look at it again.
